The Ronin ecosystem is preparing for a significant new addition with the arrival of Moku: Grand Arena, a trading card game that blends collecting, competition, and strategy. The pre-sale for booster boxes begins on October 6 and runs for a week, followed by an additional three-day shop window. Each $50 booster box includes 30 packs, with every pack containing five cards and exclusive in-game bonuses such as gyms and champion slots.

The timeline for release places pre-season activity between mid and late October. Depending on its duration, this pre-season is expected to last two to four weeks, setting the stage for the full Grand Arena launch in early November. During this phase, 100 champion slots will be distributed, and all Moki 1:1 cards will automatically qualify as champions.

The first card set arriving with launch is estimated to include around 150 standard Moki cards, 27 Moki 1:1 editions, 36 scheme cards, and a series of serialized cards, bringing the total closer to 300. With multiple rarities and mechanics built into the card pool, the game promises depth for both collectors and competitive players.

Purchases during the pre-sale will be made in $RON, Ronin’s native currency, while the in-game economy is expected to operate primarily with USDC. Gyms, which provide gameplay boosts and allow leaders to collect small treasury fees, will initially be soulbound assets but could become tradable in the future.
Although assets will remain native to Ronin, the development team has confirmed that Grand Arena will be playable across multiple chains, broadening accessibility without moving its core assets away from Ronin.
For both collectors and players, October 6 marks the start of what could be one of Ronin’s most anticipated gaming launches. With booster boxes, champion slots, and a large first set of cards, the stage is set for an active pre-season ahead of the official debut in November.
