Pixelverse, once known for its tap-to-earn games on Telegram, is repositioning itself for a Web3-native audience. The company has launched Pixelverse Arcade on Base and Farcaster, moving beyond casual mobile-style gameplay into a system built around onchain features, collectibles, and community-led projects.
The Arcade introduces a shared player identity across all titles in the ecosystem. Every match, interaction, or achievement counts toward a seasonal Battle Pass, with items and rewards recorded permanently onchain. The aim is to give players a sense of progression that extends across games, while ensuring that earned assets remain in their possession.
Its debut title, Storychain, highlights this new direction. Hosted on Farcaster, the game turns conversation threads into collaborative stories, guided by a Pixelverse AI agent that sets the rules. Each participant contributes a short passage until the story ends, at which point the entire chain is minted on Base as an NFT. Contributors are credited, and the resulting collections link back to Pixelverse’s meme partners. Leaderboards and PIXFI rewards are used to encourage ongoing play.

Pixelverse’s shift to Base and Farcaster reflects how its user base has changed. The platform grew to 27 million monthly active users on Telegram but is now seeking to align with Web3-native players who value digital ownership and community-led culture. Partnerships with meme-driven groups such as Toshi, Ski Mask Dog, Mr. Mingles, and Brett reinforce this transition, with collectibles and seasonal activities embedded directly into the Base network. Farcaster, meanwhile, serves as the distribution layer for social gameplay.
The $PIXFI token will also move onto Base, binding rewards, trading, and game participation together under the same ecosystem.
“Storychain takes everyday conversation and turns it into both a game and an onchain asset,” said Kori Leon, co-founder of Pixelverse. “It’s the first step toward a category of games only possible on open networks like Base and Farcaster.”
