Verse8, an AI-driven platform that enables the crafting and remixing of both 2D and 3D multiplayer games, has announced it will incorporate the intellectual properties (IP) of Azuki and Moonbirds into its user-generated gaming experiences. This integration will allow users to create immersive, blockchain-supported environments utilizing these popular IPs.
Currently accessed by roughly 800,000 monthly active users in its beta version, Verse8 allows for the creation of games and digital assets through intuitive text prompts and image transformations. This collaboration with Story introduces a sophisticated on-chain licensing system, which offers a seamless approach to managing IP rights and revenue distribution. Each piece of content created using Azuki and Moonbirds IPs can be automatically registered, ensuring that creators and NFT holders receive royalties via smart contracts.
For instance, users can design bespoke gaming experiences like an Azuki-themed battle arena, complete with unique avatars, storylines, and premium in-game items. Financial returns from such ventures are then equitably shared amongst the original IP creators and other stakeholders.
