The Xion blockchain has capitalized on the Korea Blockchain Week to unveil its ambitious Xion Arena Tournament. This event is poised to capture gamers’ attention, stretching into early 2026 and boasting a lavish prize pool of 1 billion Korean Won (approximately $720,000). Additionally, the tournament will offer a range of rewards, including game credits, in-game characters, and equipment, as well as physical items such as branded merchandise and high-tech gaming equipment.
Tapping into the popular Unreal game engine, the chosen game for this competition is Gods Legacy, a beat-’em-up match that promises to showcase skill and strategy. The event structure begins with an early access beta, exclusively available to attendees of Korea Blockchain Week and other pre-selected participants, creating an inclusive yet competitive atmosphere from the start.
As the tournament progresses, a PvE phase will commence in November, during which all registrants can participate. Gamers will receive three free daily credits with additional credits available for purchase. Performance will be tracked on a leaderboard, providing a transparent and competitive environment as players vie to qualify for the culminating PvP contest. This phase kicks off in December, culminating with the Grand Final in January 2026, where top players will battle it out for the grand prizes.
Xion’s CEO, Anthony Anzalone, shared his vision at the event, remarking, “This is about showing how web3 can amplify the experiences players already love. By launching during Korea Blockchain Week, we are doubling down on our commitment to the APAC market, where the fusion of gaming and blockchain is shaping the future of digital culture.”
For eager gamers and enthusiasts, pre-registration is open on the Xion Arena website, setting the stage for what promises to be a fiercely competitive and engaging digital entertainment spectacle.
