RoboKiden
Overview
RoboKiden is a team-based action game where five players control a single mecha in strategic battles. Developed by Breach Studios and published by Elixir Games, it is available on PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch with crossplay support. Game Lore
Set in Monotopia, RoboKiden follows a civilization that reprogrammed work Bots for entertainment, creating the sport of RoboKiden. The game was banned after causing societal chaos, but years later, engineer Ishani reactivates it, challenging the monotony enforced by Constable Drab and his Fun Police.

NFTs and Blockchain
RoboKiden integrates blockchain technology through its partnership with Avalanche, utilizing the $KIDEN token. This token is used as the in-game currency and for buying and trading NFTs. Players can earn $KIDEN by playing and equipping various NFT assets. The game features 11 different NFT types, four qualities, and over 200 exclusive assets for the first season.
Token Economy
The $KIDEN token plays a central role in RoboKiden’s economy, allowing players to purchase loot boxes containing NFTs and participate in the in-game marketplace. Players can use $KIDEN to enhance their gameplay experience by acquiring and evolving NFTs, which can then be deployed in battles for additional rewards.

Our verdict on RoboKiden
RoboKiden is a team-based mecha shooter with an unusual central conceit: five players share control of a single giant robot, so the moment-to-moment game is less about individual aim than about whether your squad can agree on where to go and what to shoot. Breach Studios developed it and Elixir Games publishes it, with PC, PS5, Xbox and Switch versions planned alongside crossplay. Matches run around twelve minutes and mix third-person shooting with MOBA-style objective play — holding control points, deploying Blastbots, Medbots and Techbots, and triggering a Giant Mode power spike that arms rockets and beams for a final push.
The framing is deliberately light: Monotopia, a banned entertainment sport revived by an engineer against a squad called the Fun Police, plus a cast of six characters with distinct playstyles and a comic-book tone. The blockchain layer sits on Avalanche and runs on the $KIDEN token, which buys loot boxes, funds an in-game marketplace, and unlocks NFT gear — eleven types across four quality tiers, with more than 200 assets in the first season. Loot boxes as the main route to NFTs is worth understanding before you invest.
Two cautions. The game is still in early development, so the platform and crossplay promises are unproven, and shared-mecha control lives or dies on teammates — solo queuing into it is a very different experience than playing with a fixed group. It suits players who want short co-op sessions with friends and are comfortable with a token economy layered on top.
