Halloween has arrived in Big Time, bringing new challenges, exclusive cosmetics, and a major leaderboard competition filled with community milestones and rewards.
Big Time, one of the best crypto games, is part of the Open Loot ecosystem, which recently announced the launch of OL Chain, a layer 3 chain focused on gaming built on the Base Chain.
The centerpiece of this year’s event is the Plaguebringer Armor Set, a hauntingly detailed outfit that players can craft throughout the event. The Legendary version of this set is already gaining attention for its stunning and eerie design. To start, the Shoulders of the Plaguebringer Armor are now available for crafting.
Community Milestone System
This event introduces a community-based Milestone System. The more items players craft, the larger the prize pool becomes, and the more winners will appear on the leaderboard. If the community reaches the second milestone, an exclusive weapon, the Halloween Scythe (2H Axe), will unlock for crafting.
Weekly Challenges
Players can complete special weekly challenges to earn leaderboard points. The current set includes:
- Open 2 Scarecrow Chests — Reward: 1,500 points
- Craft 2 Mantle of Virihusk (Epic Shoulders) — Reward: 10,000 points
- Refine 2,000 Silver Bat Wings — Reward: 5,000 points
These challenges are available until November 3rd at 18:00 UTC.
Event-Long Rewards
Throughout the event, players can earn additional leaderboard points for crafting unique cosmetics for the first time. Items include armor pieces, weapons, emotes, titles, and decorative objects such as:
- Grasps of the Smoldered Faith – 500 points
- Vesture of Marrowbane – 3,500 points
- Absolution’s Husk, Raiment of the White Requiem – 18,000 points
- Solvane, Scythe of the Silent Choir – 18,000 points
- Malefic Footstep VFX – 11,250 points
- Jack O’ Spells’ Malefic Cauldron – 16,875 points
Players who manage to craft all 30 cosmetics before the end of the event will receive a bonus of 250,000 leaderboard points.
