In Brief
- Token Launch: Moonbirds is set to introduce its native BIRB token on the Solana network in early Q1 2026.
- Company Growth: Orange Cap Games, the current owner of Moonbirds, has expanded into physical collectibles and trading card games, aiming to significantly increase its revenue.
- Partnerships and Projects: Key partnerships with traditional collectible distributors and grading agencies have been established, with new ventures in trading card games already showing substantial revenue.
Spencer Gordon-Sand, CEO of Orange Cap Games, recently announced that Moonbirds will launch its new BIRB token on the Solana platform in early 2026. This development comes as part of a larger effort to enhance and grow their NFT ecosystem. The launch was revealed at the Solana Breakpoint 2025 conference, where Gordon-Sand expressed ambitious visions for the company’s future, aiming to reach multi-billion dollar revenue figures similar to those seen by industry giants like Pop Mart.
“Our native token is coming early Q1 [of] 2026 as we pursue growing toward being a multi-billion dollar company doing billions of dollars of revenue like Pop Mart does, being the Pop Mart of web3,” Gordon-Sand stated.
Revenue Growth and Strategic Acquisitions
Orange Cap Games, which took over the Moonbirds IP in May, is eyeing substantial revenue growth. The company anticipates generating about $8 million this year, with projections reaching around $20 million for the next year based on current dealings with distributors. These figures come as Orange Cap Games diversifies its offerings, having taken a successful leap into physical consumer products influenced by their digital NFT counterparts.

Leveraging Partnerships for Expansion
The integration of Moonbirds into existing product lines is well underway, with plans to introduce Moonbirds-themed items to the Vibes trading card game in the upcoming year. The Vibes game, based on Pudgy Penguins, has already brought about $6 million in revenue in the past twelve months, demonstrating the potential for future projects.
Moreover, Orange Cap Games has secured strategic distribution agreements with major players in the collectibles market such as GTS and Star City Games. They have also collaborated with notable grading organizations like CGC and PSA, further solidifying their presence in the sector.
As they move forward, Orange Cap Games not only aims to expand within the digital realm but also sets an ambitious footprint in the physical collectibles and trading games industry, marking significant strides in transforming NFT intellectual property into tangible, revenue-generating products.
