Grand Arena’s Innovative Gameplay
The web3 community Moku has introduced the first season of its AI-powered fantasy platform called Grand Arena. Unique to traditional fantasy sports, Grand Arena operates continuously, independent of real-world events. This season, which will run until mid-May, boasts a prize pool of $1 million.
Contest and Prizes
In Grand Arena, players engage in a competitive environment where they assemble lineups using cards representing different Mokis—the AI-driven agents—and participate in either free or paid contests. Success in these contests is dictated not just by strategy and luck but also by the training and enhancement of Mokis. Players improve their standings by amassing Moku XP (mXP), with top participants claiming larger shares of the prize pool.
Strategic Elements
A key aspect of gameplay involves the enhancement of a player’s Mokis. Several parameters can affect the outcome of contests, including the rarity of the cards employed, which ranges from Basic to Legendary. Each type provides a different multiplier effect on a Moki’s performance. For those holding Moki NFTs, additional options such as direct training of Mokis are available to further boost their abilities and competitive edge.
Revenue and Rewards
Aside from contest winnings, players engaging with Grand Arena have the opportunity to earn through systematic improvements to their holdings. Champion Moki NFT holders receive ongoing royalties from card pack sales during the season, providing an additional layer of engagement and potential income.
Vision of the Platform
Hantao Yuan, the co-founder of Moku, stated, “We’re focusing on a nonstop competitive economy where players can strategize, compete, and earn around the clock. Daily fantasy has always been contained to real-world schedules but with Grand Arena, competition never stops. The Season One one million prize pool is just the starting point for us.”
As the season progresses, participants will have numerous opportunities to test their strategies, enhance their portfolios, and possibly claim a significant share of the substantial prize pool that Grand Arena offers.
