Haven expansion details
Parallel TCG has announced the upcoming release of its Haven expansion, set for April 11, 2026. The drop will occur exclusively on OpenSea, with each pack priced at $30. A total of 3,682 packs will be available, the most limited offering in the game’s trajectory.
Packs can be redeemed on Parallel.life immediately after purchase, allowing for instant competitive play. This follows the seamless redemption method introduced during the Deception launch.
Narrative shift in gameplay
Haven shifts the game’s storyline into a cosmic setting, with factions converging at the Sanctuary, a vast space station. Leaders from Augencore, Earthen, Kathari, Marcolian, and The Shroud are featured, each contributing their unique playstyles. This expansion ties into Parallel’s broader universe, including the development of Parallel Sanctuary, a third-person extraction shooter on the B3 open gaming layer.
Edition sizes shrink significantly
Haven’s edition sizes represent a substantial reduction from previous expansions. It features a total card supply of 215,648, a 75% decrease compared to the Deception expansion, which had 753,350 cards. Card tier quantities in Haven include 5,030 Common, 1,375 Uncommon, 750 Rare, and 200 Legendary cards. Special Editions and Perfect Loops will also be available in limited quantities.
Notably, Haven does not include any Native Language cards and excludes Common or Uncommon First Editions, which will be offered in a future Payload update.
Higher rarity with chase cards
The reduced total card edition increases the likelihood of higher-rarity pulls from packs. Parallel announced that these packs are “absolutely juiced” relative to past offerings. Chase cards include anime-inspired Prime Variants, redesigned Perfect Loops, and one-of-one Masterpiece cards, each uniquely crafted for this expansion.
Parallel has shared the full pull odds for each card tier, maintaining transparency throughout. This aligns with its previous approach, placing a high value on informed collectors.
