Chaos W, a mobile MMORPG from South Korean publisher VALOFE, opened pre-registration today on Google Play, the Apple App Store and VALOFE’s VFUN platform. The game runs on the CROSS gamechain and marks the first title to come out of NEXUS and VALOFE’s partnership agreement signed last October.
Pre-registration is initially targeting Taiwan and Southeast Asia. A global launch is planned for Q2 2026.
What Chaos W is
The game takes the RTS-style framework of the original Chaos Online and reworks it as a mobile MMORPG. It combines tactical combat elements with RPG progression systems. VALOFE’s VFUN platform is integrated with CROSS to handle the on-chain layer.
VALOFE is running a pre-character-creation and server-reservation event on the VFUN website alongside the registration campaign. The publisher also plans in-game item distributions tied to cumulative pre-registration milestones, as well as quiz promotions on its ORVVIT community service and Discord.
A VALOFE representative said the company expects the partnership to deliver a new type of game experience to global users.
The NEXUS-VALOFE deal
NEXUS, the KOSDAQ-listed company behind the CROSS protocol, signed the MOU with VALOFE in October 2025 to bring titles onto its EVM-compatible Layer 1 gamechain. Chaos W is the first concrete result of that agreement.
CROSS has been building out its game roster steadily. Other titles already live or recently launched on the chain include Seal M on CROSS, which pulled 2.2 million pre-registrations before its March 19 global launch, Rohan 2 Global, and ROM: Golden Age on CROSS. NEXUS also launched AGENTVERSE, an AI agent competition ecosystem, in February, which the company says attracted more than one million AI agents within three weeks.
NEXUS is led by CEO Henry Chang, formerly of WEMIX, Wemade, and Neowiz Mobile, and employs more than 100 blockchain and gaming specialists.
