Splinterlands kicked off its seasonal Easter event today with a batch of gameplay changes, reward restructuring and new content that goes well beyond pastel skins and decorated eggs.
The headline addition is Eggceleration, a temporary ruleset active until April 15. When triggered in a match, all units gain +1 to all stats at the end of each round. That’s a significant power swing. In normal play, stat boosts of that kind are gated behind conditions like Bloodlust, which requires a unit to land the killing blow, or Martyr, which only fires when the unit dies. Eggceleration removes those conditions entirely, meaning matches will escalate fast. Tanks with high HP and healing abilities stand to benefit most, as do units with multiple attack types.
Final Conclave Arcana card announced
The ninth and final Conclave Arcana Conflict card is coming: Dragonlord Mancer, a Legendary Dragon Archon. No release date was specified beyond confirmation that it’s on the way.
Two new land-craftable cards are also being added. Both are crafted using resources and Cinder, with a hard cap of 60,000 copies each. Craftable skins will be available for them as well.
Survival mode gets a full rework
Following a recently passed governance proposal, SPS rewards for Survival mode have been removed. In their place, Splinterlands has rolled out a GLINT-based reward structure tied to leaderboard performance.
Every bracket now has a set GLINT reward pool. Players who maintain at least a 50% win rate earn a new reward card, with additional copies going to top leaderboard finishers. Hitting 50 or more wins awards 25 Ranked Draw tokens. The top 25 players in each bracket qualify for a post-season tournament.
New ruleset, mana changes and payment updates
Outside the event, the update adds Pandemonium, a new permanent ruleset that randomizes unit positions at the start of battle.
Junior Varsity mode now caps mana at 42, and mana restrictions apply to tournaments and brawls.
On the payments side, Coinbase Commerce has been discontinued and all Coinbase payment options are currently disabled. The team says integration with Coinbase Business is in progress.
Skins and fixes
The Eggstravaganza shop includes a set of pastel-themed skins. The designs lean formal rather than holiday-themed, putting units in pastel-colored outfits rather than bunny costumes. Common rarity skins cost 600 GLINT. The skins focus on recent card generations, with no older cards represented.
Splintervibes are now automatically enabled when obtained through the shop or chests. The update also addresses several bugs, including incorrect ability hover displays, cards appearing incorrectly on the Guild Library deposit page and a broken Modern filter in the Guild Library. Additional security checks have been added for password and key change requests, and a hotfix resolved an issue with the forgot password page failing to load.
