YGG Play, the Web3 publisher focused on the “Casual Degen” genre, has revealed a new partnership with game studio Raitomira to publish Waifu Sweeper, a puzzle-meets-gacha experience designed for crypto-native players. The title reimagines the traditional Minesweeper formula by combining logical deduction with collectible anime-inspired companion characters, shifting the focus toward strategic decision-making rather than chance.
A Skill-First Approach to Gacha Gameplay
Waifu Sweeper stands apart from typical gacha games by emphasizing “Skill to Earn,” giving players a higher degree of control over their rewards. Instead of relying heavily on random pulls, players use logic and information on the board to uncover monsters, traps and hidden treasures.
Raitomira co-founder Hun Pascal Park said the goal is to “give players more agency about their in-game winnings” and to distribute rewards more fairly to skilled players. The game merges puzzle mechanics with collectible waifu companions, offering both strategic depth and casual accessibility.
Experienced Talent Behind the Project
Waifu Sweeper is being developed under the guidance of Raitomira co-founders Hun Pascal Park and Karan Singh, both of whom bring extensive backgrounds in gaming and Web3.
Park previously worked at Blizzard Entertainment on titles such as StarCraft II, Overwatch and Hearthstone, and later contributed to PUBG Mobile at Tencent. Singh, also known as Karan Wasabi, worked on PUBG Mobile in publishing and has years of experience in mobile game development.
Strategic Partnership With YGG Play
YGG Play’s agreement with Raitomira is a second-party publishing deal. The publisher will integrate the game into its growing network of guilds, communities, influencers and on-chain players.
The partnership includes a smart contract-based revenue-sharing model designed to ensure transparency and fairness. YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon described Waifu Sweeper as “a very interesting skill-based gameplay experience” that fits the evolution of the Casual Degen category.
Launch at Art Basel Miami
Waifu Sweeper will officially debut during a launch event co-hosted by YGG Play, Raitomira and OpenSea at Art Basel Miami on December 6, 2025. The event aligns with Art Basel’s dedicated Zero 10 zone, highlighting digital creativity through AI-driven art, robotics, generative systems and immersive installations.
Attendees will receive a soulbound proof-of-attendance NFT minted on Abstract as a commemorative token.

Expanding the Casual Degen Landscape
The partnership underscores YGG Play’s commitment to publishing accessible Web3 titles designed for crypto-native audiences. Additional publishing collaborations are planned for 2026 as YGG Play continues expanding its portfolio with easy-to-learn, rewarding on-chain games.
