The gaming community is gearing up for The Beacon‘s inaugural speedrun tournament, beginning on Monday, September 29. This exciting 2-day event invites players to navigate through intricate dungeons as swiftly as possible. The competition aims to not only challenge participants but also to reward them with a substantial prize pool.
Qualifying Rounds
From 14:00 UTC on the launch day until 19:00 UTC the following day, players with a Ronin Waypoint account can enter the competition. To participate, individuals must submit proof of their dungeon run, which can be a video or a screenshot, on Twitter/X using the designated hashtag, #RoninxThebeacon. Additionally, an official entry form needs to be completed. All participants will receive the Silver Valkyrie’s Call cosmetic item, while the top 32 finalists will also secure the Crimson Valkyrie’s Call alongside their token prizes.
Tournament Details
Stage and Bracket Play
After the qualifying phase concludes, the top 32 contenders will advance to the playoff rounds starting October 1. The playoffs will feature a single-elimination format over several stages:
- Top 32 Bracket: October 1 at 14:00 UTC
- Top 16 Bracket: October 2 at 14:00 UTC
- Final Top 8: October 3 at 16:00 UTC
Each match will introduce a new dungeon layout, with early rounds being a best-of-one and the final round a best-of-three. Competitors must check in no later than 5 minutes before their scheduled matches to avoid disqualification.
Prize Breakdown
The prizes are distributed as follows, based on final standings:
- 1st place: 2,000 $RON
- 2nd place: 1,500 $RON
- 3rd–4th place: 900 $RON each
- 5th–8th place: 475 $RON each
- 9th–16th place: 150 $RON each
- 17th–32nd place: 100 $RON each

Exclusive to Ronin
This tournament is exclusive to the Ronin network, which previously saw over 200,000 daily active users during its first airdrop campaign. The Beacon continues to engage users by integrating its unique blend of roguelite and MMO gameplay elements strictly within the Ronin ecosystem.
