What is MetalCore?

MetalCore is a mech-combat game set on the distant planet of Kerberos, built around massive PvP and PvE battles fought in third-person. Players pilot mechs and vehicles, scavenge blueprints from the battlefield and upgrade their gear in pursuit of planetary supremacy. It is distributed through the Epic Games Store and is a PC title — the developers state plainly that it is not available on mobile yet. The wider fiction has players arriving on Kerberos after centuries in space, dropped into a war between entrenched factions.

How to play MetalCore

The first decision is allegiance. A player can fight as an Earther mercenary for whoever pays, or commit to one of three warring factions: the despotic Gearbreakers, the theocratic Holy Corporation or the anarchic Metal Punks. PvP events and PvE missions pay out in Marks, resources and blueprints, and blueprints are what let you fabricate new vehicles. Beyond the shooter itself, players can build a Barony — recruiting others to fight under their banner, sharing resources and single-use blueprints, and earning perks and cosmetics as the Barony's power rises. There is also MetalCore Missions, a separate idle game where NFTs are sent on missions and the rewards land in the player's main MetalCore account.

MetalCore tokenomics & earning

The token is MCG, which runs on the Solana network. The earning path starts in the game: Marks won in PvP and PvE convert to MCG. Holding MCG then unlocks benefits rather than simply representing a payout — larger monthly leaderboard rewards, faster repairs, and premium membership tiers for significant holders. Ownership of the fabricated goods is genuine: every blueprint and every vehicle NFT crafted from a blueprint belongs to the player, to deploy, trade or contribute to a Barony.
