Real Finance has announced the completion of a 29 million dollar funding package, combining a 25 million dollar capital commitment from Nimbus Capital with a 4 million dollar private round joined by Magnus Capital and Frekaz Group. The investment positions Real Finance to accelerate its mission of bringing regulated real-world assets on-chain.
Targeting 500 Million Dollars in Tokenized Assets
With its new funding, Real Finance aims to tokenize 500 million dollars worth of RWAs in its first year, a target that would represent approximately two percent of the total tokenized asset market. The company plans to use the capital to scale its infrastructure, expand its network of partners and onboard regulated financial institutions preparing to tokenize traditional asset classes.
Real Finance CEO Ivo Grigorov said: “Nimbus Capital’s decision to support Real Finance reaffirms that we are on course to power the next generation of global financial infrastructure. Having a fund with such institutional pedigree standing behind our mission, coupled with the support of leading investor Magnus Capital, is a validation of our work to date. With their support, I’m excited for what’s to come as we enable hundreds of millions of dollars in real-world assets to flow through Real.”
Institutional Commitment and Industry Support
Robert Baker, Managing Partner at Nimbus Capital, added: “This investment reflects our belief in the direction finance is moving. Real Finance is creating the secure and compliant foundation institutions need to bring real-world assets onchain. We’re delighted to be supporting a team that is bringing transparency and trust to the next generation of financial infrastructure, and we’ll be with them every step of the way.”
Matthijs Van Driel, CEO and Co-founder of Magnus Capital, said: “We’re privileged to have led Real’s private round, giving them the support they need to enhance and scale their Layer-1 solution. 2025 has shown that there’s real institutional demand for RWAs – and in 2026, we’re confident that Real Finance will be capturing a significant slice of that multi-billion dollar market.”
Global Expansion and Bank Partnerships
Real Finance is building a network of regulated institutions across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The company is advancing relationships with banks including Panama’s Canal Bank and Austria’s Wiener Bank, while assembling a broader alliance of regional financial institutions and service providers.
This international expansion aims to establish Real Finance as a key infrastructure partner for organizations entering the tokenized asset market.
A Dual-Validator Architecture for Institutional-Grade RWAs
Real Finance’s Layer 1 blockchain uses a dual-validator consensus model that incorporates tokenization firms, risk assessors and insurers directly into network validation.
The architecture includes:
- A built-in risk classification framework
- Institutional-grade compliance alignment
- A disaster recovery mechanism
- Decentralized governance tailored to regulated entities
These design elements aim to provide the reliability and trust financial institutions require when handling tokenized assets.
