In Brief:
- $4.9 Million Raised: Moku‘s innovative AI-based fantasy sports game, Grand Arena, nets $4.9 million in pre-sales for Season 1 booster boxes.
- RON Token Utilization: Buyers used RON tokens to purchase raffle tickets, providing a chance to secure a booster box or receive other valuable rewards.
- Anticipated Launch: Grand Arena is set to launch later in 2025, featuring a $1 million prize pool for its inaugural season.
In an impressive display of investor enthusiasm, the Ronin-based gaming initiative Moku successfully allocated $4.9 million worth of RON tokens during a pre-sale event. This fundraising effort was for the first batch of booster box NFTs, marking the inaugural season of the AI-driven fantasy sports project known as Grand Arena.
The process was structured around a unique non-loss raffle, where participants purchased tickets for 100 RON (equivalent to $40). With the raffle now concluded, ticket holders will soon learn if they’ve successfully secured one of the coveted booster boxes. These boxes can either be opened by the winners to utilize in the game or traded as NFTs in the marketplace.
For those not fortunate enough to win a box, there remains a silver lining. Unsuccessful raffle entries are eligible for a refund, or the tickets can be employed at Moku’s second chance shop. Here, participants can exchange them for various rewards including champion slots, gems, Moki NFTs, and rare chase cards, often of equal or greater value than the initial ticket.
The developers of Grand Arena aim to revolutionize player engagement through cutting-edge AI technology, where gamers draft AI athletes, strategize team lineups, and compete for substantial rewards. The introduction of AI athletes that train, adapt, and evolve after each match sets a new benchmark in the integration of complex AI in competitive gaming.
Founder Hantao Yuan expressed enthusiasm about the project’s trajectory, stating, “The response to the Grand Arena pre-sale has been incredible and already one of the most successful mints on Ronin. Our community recognizes that this is a new category of competition where AI athletes train, adapt, and improve with every match. The community’s energy proves people are ready for real innovation in web3.”
Scheduled for a release later in 2025, Grand Arena’s first season is underpinned by a promising $1 million prize pool, aiming to attract a broad range of fantasy sports enthusiasts and competitive gamers worldwide.
