What is Akedo?

Akedo is a game studio built specifically for Telegram, publishing playable mini-apps that run inside the messenger and settle on TON, the blockchain Telegram's ecosystem is built around. It arrived during the wave that Notcoin and Hamster Kombat created, when tap-to-earn games inside Telegram were reaching audiences in the hundreds of millions, and its answer to that market was to build games with more structure than a tapping counter. The studio is backed by The Open Platform, one of the main funds in the TON ecosystem, which also gives it access to TON's wallet, exchange and staking infrastructure rather than requiring it to build its own. How to play Akedo

There is nothing to install. Akedo's games open inside Telegram as mini-apps, so playing means opening a chat and pressing start — no wallet extension, no download, no separate account. In Akedog, the loop is collect, merge, nurture and trade: acquire pets, combine them to produce stronger ones, raise their abilities over time and send them into battles against other players' pets, with trading as the release valve for anything you do not want to raise yourself. Rewards accrue for completing simple daily actions as well as for battling, which is the Telegram-native design that made the format popular in the first place. A TON wallet, most easily the one built into Telegram, is what connects the collection to actual ownership.

Akedo tokenomics & earning

The economy runs on TON-based tokens and on the pet NFTs themselves, with rewards paid for tasks, battles and progression rather than through a single fixed emission. The pets are the durable asset — a merged, well-raised pet is worth what another player will pay for the time it saves them, which is where most realised earnings in this genre actually come from. The honest caveat for the whole Telegram gaming category applies here too: reward programmes in these games are typically front-loaded around launch and campaign periods, and payouts thin out afterwards.
