Setting up a custom RSS reader

Already using a reader that isn't Feedly, Inoreader, or Feedbin? The process is the same in every app:

  1. Copy any feed URL from above (use the Copy button).
  2. Open your reader and find Add feed, Subscribe, or New subscription.
  3. Paste the URL and confirm.

Popular readers & where to paste the URL

  • Thunderbird File → New → Feed Account
  • NetNewsWire (Mac/iOS) File → New Feed
  • Reeder + button → Subscribe to Feed
  • Miniflux (self-hosted) Feeds → + New feed
  • FreshRSS (self-hosted) Subscriptions → Add
  • Tiny Tiny RSS (self-hosted) Actions → Subscribe to feed
  • QuiteRSS (Win/Linux) Feeds → Add → Feed
  • Feeder (Android) + → Paste URL
  • Unread (iOS) + → URL

Feed format

All our feeds are RSS 2.0 with standard WordPress extensions (Dublin Core, content:encoded, Atom self-link). An Atom version of any feed is available by appending ?feed=atom, e.g. /category/crypto/feed/atom/.

Update frequency

New posts appear in every matching feed within a few seconds of publishing. Feeds contain the 10 most recent items by default; most readers will keep older items once they've fetched them.

Republishing our content on your site

Republishing allowed with attribution

You're welcome to pull our RSS feeds into your own website, newsletter, or aggregator. We just ask for a clear link back so readers can find the original.

The ground rules

  • Link back to the original article on cryptogames.gg — not just a link to our homepage. The full canonical URL is already in each RSS item's <link> tag.
  • Credit the source. Include a line such as "Originally published on CryptoGames.gg" at the top or bottom of each post.
  • Set a canonical tag pointing to the original URL (<link rel="canonical" href="https://cryptogames.gg/..."/>) so search engines know we're the source. This protects both of us from duplicate-content issues.
  • Keep bylines and images intact — don't strip author credit or swap out our images for your own.
  • No commercial resale of the content by itself (e.g., paid newsletters consisting only of our articles). Using our content alongside your own in a free or ad-supported site is fine.

Technical setup

Common tools that can pull RSS into your site:

  • WordPress: the built-in RSS widget, or plugins like Feedzy RSS Feeds or WP RSS Aggregator. Point them at any feed URL above.
  • Ghost / Substack / newsletters: most newsletter tools accept an RSS URL as a content source.
  • Static sites (Hugo / Eleventy / Astro): fetch the feed at build time with any standard RSS parser.
  • Zapier / Make / n8n: use an "RSS → post" trigger to republish automatically to any destination.
