Spellborne has introduced its new Blood Moon event, bringing major changes to PvP battles and offering upgraded rewards for competitive players. The strategy-focused creature battler is known for its tactical depth, and the latest update adds new pressure, faster combat, and higher stakes than usual.
New Rules for PvP Leagues
The Blood Moon event changes several core systems, pushing players to rethink how they approach battles:
Healing is disabled.
No monster can restore health, making every hit meaningful and every turn critical.
Bleeding mechanic added.
Monsters that remain on the battlefield for more than three consecutive turns begin to bleed and lose health each turn.
No disabling effects.
Sleep, freeze, and flinch abilities do not work during this event, removing many control-based strategies.
Random stat boosts.
Every three turns, all active monsters gain a single-stage increase in a random stat once both monsters have entered the fight.
These adjustments create a fast, unforgiving environment where timing and endurance play a central role.

Event Rewards
The Blood Moon update also improves event rewards across several categories:
Players can spend the $BORNE token to speed up chest opening and earn Abstract Shards or Summoner Tickets starting from the Gold tier.
A special Halloween Chest is available, offering guaranteed high-value items such as Abstract Shards or Summoner Tickets.
Chest costs have been reduced, and the reward quality has increased for all tiers. Rewards are delivered based on the player’s chosen blockchain network.
