What we cover
Blockchain and web3 games, the studios and tokens behind them, and the wider crypto and technology stories that affect players. We also cover conventional games, film and television where they intersect with our readers’ interests.
How we source
We report from primary sources wherever they exist — a studio’s own announcement, an on-chain transaction, a project’s documentation, a published funding round. Where we rely on another outlet’s reporting, we say so and link to it. Where a claim is a project’s own and we cannot independently confirm it, we attribute it rather than state it.
Data on game and token pages
Our directory carries figures — prices, player counts, market data — drawn from third-party providers. These are stamped with the date they were collected. Where a figure is older than 30 days we label it as historical rather than present it as current, and we do not silently hide it. Games that appear to have shut down are marked as such and stay on the site with that label.
What we will not do
- We do not publish paid coverage disguised as editorial. Sponsored or partnered content is labelled as such.
Press releases and partner announcements are published under a separate byline and filed under Press Release. They are not editorial coverage and are not reviewed or endorsed by our editors.
- We do not carry other companies’ referral or affiliate codes inside editorial coverage.

How we fund the site
CryptoGames.GG is funded by advertising, affiliate partnerships and sponsored placements. Commercial relationships never determine our coverage or our verdicts, and sponsored content is always labelled. Full details are on our About page.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research, draft and illustrate some of our coverage. Content is supervised by a human editor, and we are responsible for everything we publish regardless of how it was drafted. If you find an error in any of it, our Corrections Policy applies in exactly the same way.
