About PlayerOne
What is PlayerOne?
PlayerOne is a cross-chain metaverse sandbox. You create a voxel character, design your own spaces in a sky-based world, and meet and trade with other players. The creation tools are RoleEditor for characters and SpaceEditor for spaces. The game also has social areas and an NFT marketplace. It is built on the LayerZero protocol, so assets can move between chains, and you can join with a wallet from several networks.
Chains and token
PlayerOne supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Fantom, Solana and Flow. Its token is P1.
Team and funding
The Singapore-based team closed a $12 million seed round in April 2021 with SIG and Dragonfly Capital among its investors. It followed with a Pre-A round in December 2021. The beta, with a limited run of 20,000 3D voxel characters, was announced for September 2021.
