System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is free on Epic Games Store: claim it before Oct 8

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is an updated take on the genre-defining shooter that introduced mechanics now standard across FPS and RPG games. The setting is the Von Braun, whose wretched corridors you have been trained to survive.

It is aimed at players who like atmospheric sci-fi horror and immersive sims that expect you to manage your own survival rather than hold your hand. It runs on PC and Windows through the Epic Games Store, and normally costs $29.99.

The giveaway runs until October 8, 2026 at 15:00 UTC. Claim it within that window and it stays in your Epic library permanently, with no subscription required to keep playing after the offer ends.
