Mythical Games
What is Mythical Games?
Mythical Games is a venture-backed game technology company rather than a single title, and it is one of the larger Web3 studios by reach. Led by industry veterans, it builds games first and adds blockchain underneath, on the argument that players who can freely trade their items stay more engaged and value them more. Its published games include Blankos Block Party, the party-brawler that put it on the map, NFL Rivals, FIFA Rivals and Pudgy Party, several of which have shipped on ordinary mobile app stores and the Epic Games Store rather than through crypto-native launchers. Alongside the games sits the Mythical Platform, a service other developers and publishers use to bolt a secondary economy onto their own titles, and Mythos Chain, the network those economies settle on.
How to play Mythical Games titles
There is no single Mythical client. Each title is downloaded on its own: FIFA Rivals is free on iOS and Android, Blankos Block Party has run on PC and is moving to mobile, and Pudgy Party is a separate arcade release. In every case the pattern is the same and deliberately undemanding: install the game free, play it as an ordinary mobile or PC game, and use the marketplace only if you want to buy or sell items. Wallet handling is abstracted away rather than pushed at the player, which is the whole point of the platform. Developers integrating the platform work through REST APIs, with SDKs available on request and marketplace functionality that can be embedded directly into a game client.
Mythical Games tokenomics & earning
The ecosystem token is MYTH, which underpins transactions across the Mythical marketplace and the wider Mythos ecosystem and is designed around high throughput and low fees so that ordinary in-game trades are viable. Items in Mythical's titles are held as tradeable assets, so a player's earnings come from selling what they own on the marketplace, not from a per-session payout. Because Mythical is a studio and a platform rather than one game, terms differ per title: the item economy in FIFA Rivals is not the economy in Blankos. Anyone buying items as an investment should read the specific game's documentation rather than the group-level token page.

Our verdict on Mythical Games
Mythical Games is not a single game but a studio and platform company. It builds games in-house and supplies the blockchain rails underneath them, with its early token and asset infrastructure running on EOS. Its two best-known titles are the mobile card-and-team sports game NFL Rivals and the vinyl-toy-styled Blankos Block Party, the latter distributed through the Epic Games Store — a mainstream storefront placement that very few Web3 games have secured.
What works here is scale and distribution. A licensed NFL property and an Epic listing put its output in front of an audience that has not gone looking for crypto, which is a harder problem than most studios in this space have solved. The studio-level positioning also means the underlying tech is reused across titles rather than rebuilt per game.
What does not work is discovery. Because Mythical Games is a company rather than a playable product, there is no single thing to install, no genre to filter by, and no one experience to judge — you have to go to an individual title to find out whether it suits you.
It is worth following if you track who is building Web3 games and how they reach ordinary players. If you want something to play tonight, start with one of its titles instead.
