About RaidLords

What is RaidLords?

RaidLords is a browser strategy game on Robinhood Chain, an EVM-compatible network. The official site sums it up as "build your village, raid theirs, on Robinhood Chain." You play at raidlords.com/play and connect a crypto wallet to get in.

Before launch the team ran a waitlist. Players linked a wallet and an X account, did social tasks to earn points and claimed a RaidLord card. The site lists a $3,000 prize pool: $2,000 for the top 100 raiders and $1,000 for 100 random raiders outside the top ranks. Waitlist members also got early access, and each friend who finished signup was worth 50 points.

How to play RaidLords

You build a village around a castle, with barracks, a tavern, a church, a shrine and defenses such as cannons and catapult towers. Gold, elixir and dark are the resources, and other players can steal them when they raid you. You research and train troops, attack other villages for trophies, watch battle replays and take revenge on whoever raided you. Shields protect your base for a while. Clans can run raids and wars together.

Each player also gets one Champion, a knight you name yourself. The game code shows Champions level from 1 to 40 through play and carry a separate Valor rank from 0 to 20, which is bought with tokens. At level 10 you pick a stance, and the stance gets stronger at levels 20 and 30. Champions take gear and fight duels on a rating ladder, where a successful defense also earns points. The top places on that ladder split a prize pool.

RaidLords tokenomics & earning

The game client includes token purchases for in-game gold, paid bundles, token burn goals and wallet withdrawals, so real money goes both in and out. The official site does not publish full token details, withdrawal limits or a whitepaper. Check the game's own channels for current terms before you spend.

Our verdict

RaidLords is a browser base-builder on Robinhood Chain, and its own tagline sums it up: build your village, raid theirs. It runs in a web page on desktop or phone and connects to a crypto wallet. Players train troops in the Barracks, raise defenses, take on a goblin campaign, and attack other players' villages for loot and trophies. Anyone who has played a mobile village-raider will know the loop.

Most of what's built on top of that loop involves the token. In-game gold can be sold for tokens. Daily prize pools pay out on the Raid Board and in the Champion Arena, where a hero holds off waves, and Champion Duels sit alongside the arena. Clans can donate troops to each other and pool gold into a shared Citadel. There's also a War Pass, prize chests and a Halloween event.

The economy rules are written out clearly. When you spend tokens in the game, part of that spend is burned and the rest goes back into the vault. Your selling limit shrinks if you've withdrawn more than you've deposited. That's good for transparency, but it also tells you payouts are rationed. The game's text admits that withdrawals sometimes pause while the vault is topped up.

It suits players who already hold ETH on Robinhood Chain and want a raid game with token prizes, and who accept that what they earn depends on the vault staying funded.

This is our own editorial assessment. We do not score games — ratings come from players.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start playing RaidLords?
Open raidlords.com and sign in with your wallet, which only asks you to sign a message and sends no transaction. The game then asks for a one-time entry fee paid in ETH on Robinhood Chain, after which you build your village and raid other players' villages.
What wallet do I need?
Any EVM wallet that can connect to Robinhood Chain will work: a browser extension, a wallet app's built-in browser, or a phone wallet such as MetaMask, Trust, OKX or Rainbow linked through WalletConnect. Keep a little ETH on Robinhood Chain to cover the entry fee and gas.
What is the in-game token and how do players earn it?
The game token is RAID. You can earn it by selling gold at the Treasury at a fixed dollar rate (capped each day by your Royal Mint level), through prizes from the Raid Board, Champion Arena and tournaments, and through the War Pass, which the game's code lists as $25 paid in ETH that returns $5 in tokens for each day of 3 finished tasks over 10 days. You can also buy RAID inside the game with ETH, through its Pons launch curve or, once it graduates, its Uniswap v4 pool.
How do withdrawals and token burns work?
Withdrawals and deposits carry a fee: half of it is burned and half goes to the reward pool, and the same split applies to tokens spent in the game. To open withdrawals, you have to keep a minimum amount of RAID in your wallet for a set time (the game's messages give 5,000 RAID for 24 hours as an example).
Is RaidLords active, and is it worth playing?
The official site is up and says "Play now on Robinhood Chain," with a launch week running that includes races, a realm-wide burn goal and a War Pass sale, but the game's code also has a closed-beta gate that only lets in players with an invite link. It's a very new game, so if you want to try it, check @RaidLords on X for current access and keep in mind that earnings depend on the RAID token price.
