Flat Diamonds for players
Pixel Heroes Adventure is rewarding participants with a flat reward of 30,000 Diamonds in its latest community event, Paint Snap. This initiative aims to engage players by providing the same incentive to every valid entry rather than focusing on top-tier winners.
The event began April 1 and will close on April 8 at 10:30 AM UTC+9. Diamonds serve as a critical in-game currency, facilitating progression and upgrades, making the reward useful for players at all stages of character development.
How to join the event
To enter, players must complete three steps. First, take an in-game screenshot featuring the April Fools’ NPC, their character, and character nickname. Second, post the screenshot on X with the hashtags #AprilFoolsPaintSnap and #PHA, ensuring the post is public. Finally, players must submit their entry through the official form provided in the announcement. Each player can submit one entry per X and game account.
About the game
Pixel Heroes Adventure, formerly known as Meta Toy City, is a retro-style MMORPG blending pixel aesthetics with web3 mechanics. Launched on the Ronin Network, it is accessible on both Android and iOS platforms. Players engage in boss battles, dungeon runs, and loot collection while utilizing a dual-token economy featuring $ADVTR and MGOLD, with Diamonds as the primary soft currency.
Developed by Z5 Games—founded by Kim Kang-soo—Pixel Heroes Adventure underwent a rebranding in May 2024. In September 2025, Nexus, a South Korean publicly traded game company, acquired Z5 Games, bringing Kim on board to oversee tokenomics across its portfolio.
Unique reward campaigns
The game features Play-to-Mint campaigns that allow players to earn NFT items through gameplay, in addition to Play-to-Airdrop programs that offer token rewards based on participation. NFT-based characters, like Primal HeroZ and Elite Primal HeroZ, represent the highest hero tier in the game. The Dark Summoning System incentivizes players to engage further by allowing sacrifices of lower-tier characters for a chance to summon Elite variants.
The Paint Snap event reflects a growing trend in Ronin-based games, using social media as a direct entry channel for rewards, offering players an accessible means to earn in-game currency with minimal barriers. The event closes April 8 at 10:30 AM UTC+9; submissions require both a public post and form completion.
