Puffverse
What is Puffverse?
Puffverse is not one game but a small family of them, built around a cast of characters called Puffs. Two are downloadable on Android straight from the project's own site — PuffGo, the flagship, and PuffTown — and the team describes the category it aimed at as medium-weight casual competitive play. Its account of itself is unusually specific: the studio formed in 2019 out of Xiaomi, and built on Unity with Unity's own technical support behind the editor framework, the art and the animation.
The Puffs
The design leans on its characters rather than on a single avatar. Instead of one protagonist, players choose from a cast — Patty, Claude, Ashe, Bill Duck and Pop among them — each written with a personality and a backstory, and the stated intent is that a player finds the one whose traits match their own. Patty, for example, is a dinosaur hatched from a mysterious egg who has appointed himself the Princess's guardian.
$PFVS and vePUFF
$PFVS is the circulating token across every Puff game and the platform around them, and it is what the paid parts of each are priced in. The economy is described as a closed loop: in-game circulation, skill-to-earn rewards, staking, burning, buybacks and a DAO. Governance is kept separate — vePUFF carries the voting power, and there are only two ways to hold it, by locking $PFVS or by earning it inside the PuffGo games.

Our verdict on Puffverse
Puffverse is a casual, free-to-play multiplayer title on BNB Chain, built around collectible creatures called Puffs. The loop described by the game is familiar collect-breed-trade territory: each Puff carries its own attributes and abilities, you level and customise them through play, and you take them across themed realms, into quests and into player-versus-player battles for rewards. Ownership of those creatures and items sits on-chain, so trading happens in an open economy rather than a closed inventory.
What works in its favour is the low barrier — free entry, a multiplayer casual framing, and a single-chain deployment that keeps wallet setup simple. What is harder to judge from the outside is the substance behind the loop. Breeding-and-trading economies live or die on a steady flow of new players, and a lot rests on how the game handles supply of new Puffs. No developer is publicly listed alongside the project, which is worth noting if you plan to put money into an asset.
It suits players who like light, social creature-collectors and are comfortable holding tradable in-game assets. Anyone after depth in combat systems, or wanting a studio track record before committing, should look at it more cautiously.
