Beginner guide

What the tokens are and how to read the market, using the tools on this page.

No login

A short guide to reading the Guild of Guardians token market. It sticks to what the public data shows: which token collections exist, which labels a hero carries and how to compare prices honestly. It does not explain game strategy, because we have not verified it, and it gives no buying advice.

1. What the game is

Guild of Guardians describes itself on its own site as a fantasy RPG, with links to the Apple App Store and Google Play. Its tokens live on Immutable zkEVM. Heroes, pets, avatars, items, collectibles and crafting boxes are separate token collections; see collections for the contract of each.

2. What a hero token carries

Every hero token lists a class, a faction, a domain, an aptitude, a rarity, a series, a chroma and two numbers called Enlightenment and Radiance. Among the heroes we saw for sale the classes were Tank, Support, Mage, Warrior, Assassin and Ranger, and the factions were Keepers, Redeemers and Imperials. The game does not publish a plain explanation of Enlightenment, Radiance or Chroma on its home page, so we only show them. The glossary has each label.

3. Find a hero

Open heroes for sale, choose a currency and filter by rarity, class or faction. The list is sorted by price, cheapest first. Pets and items work the same way.

4. Compare prices honestly

Listings are paid in IMX, ETH, USDC or GOG, and a price in one currency cannot be compared with another without a conversion, which these tools do not do. A listing price is what the seller asks. What things really sold for is on recent sales, and prices shows the lowest ask by trait. A low ask on a rare trait with no recent sales may sit unsold for a long time.

5. Check what you buy

Use the contract addresses on the collections page and compare them with the marketplace before you buy. Immutable also lists older and unverified lookalike collections. The GOG token page has the token's own contracts. These tools are read-only and never ask for a wallet.

FAQ

Does this guide teach game strategy?

No. We have not verified strategy advice, so the guide covers the tokens and the market only.

Which currency should I look at?

Look at the one the seller uses. Prices in IMX, ETH, USDC and GOG are not converted here, so compare only within one currency.

Is a low listing a bargain?

Not by itself. It is only what the seller asks. Check recent sales for what buyers paid.
