Gunship Battle: Crypto Conflict
What is Gunship Battle: Crypto Conflict?
Gunship Battle: Crypto Conflict is a free-to-play 4X military strategy game developed and published by Joycity, extending the studio's Gunship Battle franchise into blockchain gaming. It was Joycity's first blockchain title and runs on the WEMIX network, with client versions for Android, iOS and PC. The scenario is set in a near future where accelerated global warming raises sea levels and displaces populations, triggering armed conflict; players command a fortified naval and air base while a terrorist organisation called Armada pursues nuclear capability. The game launched in all territories except South Korea, China and Singapore, and Joycity has since operated the same title under the name Gunship Battle: Total Warfare.
How to play Gunship Battle: Crypto Conflict
Core play follows the 4X base-building template: constructing and upgrading buildings, running research, gathering resources and assembling fleets and armoured regiments. PvP is largely alliance-driven. Alliances coordinate rally attacks against targets stronger than any single player, send unit support to defend members, run alliance-wide research buffs, and occupy map territory. Holding the Control Base increases the Occupancy Points earned from a Base of Operation, and server-versus-server World Wars are fought in the Central Sea, where positioning and a prepared aircraft carrier matter. Members of a victorious governing alliance receive tax benefits and "World Ruler" cosmetic skins that grant +5% construction speed and a 3% construction cost reduction. NFT assets include aircraft carriers such as Kuznetsov, Elizabeth and Nimitz, plus equipment from Normal to Legendary rarity that raises Combat Power.
Gunship Battle: Crypto Conflict tokenomics & earning
The economy uses two linked currencies. Titanium is an in-game resource any player can earn for free through daily quests and excavating resource islands, and it is also spent on aircraft upgrades, Blueprint trades and research. MILICO is the tradable token, accessed once a player's trade warehouse reaches level 18 and exchanged via a WEMIX wallet. Players invest Titanium to receive daily certificates; total issuance is set by the previous day's active users and MILICO created, and each player's allocation is proportional to their share of all Titanium invested, with nothing issued below a 0.01% share. Actual returns therefore depend on token price, playtime and competition.

Our verdict on Gunship Battle: Crypto Conflict
Gunship Battle: Crypto Conflict was Joycity's first blockchain title, and despite the franchise name it is not an arcade helicopter shooter. It is a free-to-play 4X strategy game about building a fortified naval and air base, queueing research, farming resources and assembling fleets on a shared world map. The military-thriller framing — rising seas, mass displacement, a terrorist group called Armada chasing nuclear capability — is set dressing over a familiar build-timer loop.
Its strongest layer was the alliance game. Rally attacks on targets no solo player could take, unit support for defenders, alliance-wide research buffs and territory control gave the mid-game a reason to exist, and the server-versus-server World Wars in the Central Sea rewarded preparation over raw spending. The earning model was weaker. MILICO only unlocked once a trade warehouse reached level 18, and each day's issuance was split proportionally among everyone who invested Titanium, with nothing paid below a 0.01% share — so individual returns shrank as participation grew, and the economy quietly worked against the crowd it needed to attract.
It is now a historical entry rather than something to install: Joycity ended the service in June 2025 and removed the client from the app stores, leaving the token without in-game utility. Of interest mainly to readers studying WEMIX-era play-to-earn design.
