What is KittyKart?

KittyKart is a web3 kart-racing game from 9VRSE, a US-based studio tied to the Kitty Inu ecosystem and its ERC-20 KITTY token. It is not a pet-breeding collectible game: KittyKart combines go-kart racing with shooter-style combat, letting players battle, upgrade and build karts while racing, with characters based on their own PFP avatars. It is described as the studio's first title and is aimed at PC. 9VRSE received a grant from Arbitrum to support the launch, and the game's assets are handled on Arbitrum One, an Ethereum layer-2 network, while the KITTY token itself is an Ethereum ERC-20 asset.

How to play KittyKart

KittyKart offers a single-player mode where players race AI opponents, which functions mainly as a way to learn the tracks and handling before competing against people. Two multiplayer options are documented: a Community Mode for casual races with friends, and a Skill-Match Mode that pairs players of similar ability and issues rewards based on race performance. Outside of races, the loop centres on collecting, creating and assembling karts and cosmetic items for an avatar, some of which are presented as affecting kart performance rather than appearance alone.

KittyKart tokenomics and earning

The in-game economy runs through KittyMart, which the project describes as the official and only marketplace where KittyKart game assets may be bought or sold. Transactions there use the Kitty Inu ERC-20 token, KITTY, which has a fixed maximum supply of one trillion tokens. Player earnings are framed around competitive results in Skill-Match Mode rather than passive or idle mechanics. Prospective players should note that reward rates, current build availability and roadmap timing are not consistently published, so the game's official site and channels are the only reliable place to confirm what is live at any given moment.
