What is ZED RUN?

ZED RUN is a digital horse racing and breeding game. Its original address, zed.run, now hosts ZED Bridge, a tool for moving ZED tokens from Polygon to Base so they are ready for play. The racing itself continues as ZED Champions, which its official site calls a new era of the classic ZED RUN experience. Players breed horses, build a stable and race them for rewards that can be cashed out.

How to play

You breed horses and enter them into races. Only 4,320 horses can race at a time, and each new horse joins the race pool automatically. Races field eight horses, matched by matchmaking points so that horses meet opponents of a similar level. Each horse holds an internal ZED balance that changes with its breed price and its results on the track, and every racehorse stakes up to 10 percent of that balance when it runs. After a race you can retire a horse and cash out whatever balance it has left. The site describes the system as continuous, with races running without a break.

Where it stands

The game economy runs on the ZED token. Race results decide ZED earnings, and a marketplace lets players trade rewards badges. With the move to ZED Champions, the token is bridged from Polygon to Base, and the bridge supports Coinbase Wallet among other wallets. Players returning from the original ZED RUN should start at the bridge, then continue at the ZED Champions site, which is played in the browser.
