Kratos
What is Kratos?
Kratos, also known as Kratos Studios or the Kratos Gamer Network, is an Indian Web3 gaming company rather than a game, and its most visible asset is IndiGG β the India-focused gaming DAO that began life as a sub-DAO of Yield Guild Games and whose intellectual property Kratos now owns outright, acquired through a token swap. The company is led by Manish Agarwal, formerly chief executive of Nazara Technologies, India's first publicly listed gaming company, which gives it something most Web3 gaming ventures lack: leadership that ran a conventional games business at scale first. It raised a twenty-million-dollar seed round at a hundred-and-fifty-million-dollar valuation, led by Accel with Prosus Ventures, Courtside Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners and Nazara participating.
How to take part in Kratos
There is no Kratos client to download. Players engage through IndiGG, which operates as a gaming DAO: it organises a community of players β heavily concentrated in India, one of the largest gaming populations in the world β around access to Web3 games, quests, tournaments and guild-style programmes. Joining means becoming part of that community rather than installing a title, and the games you actually play are the ones the DAO has partnered with. On the other side of the business, Kratos works with studios: it has run a grant programme worth roughly six million dollars specifically to get established Web2 game developers to bring their existing games on-chain.
Kratos tokenomics & earning
Kratos's economics are those of an investor and an ecosystem operator rather than of a game. It holds the IndiGG brand and token, and it takes positions in Web3 games worldwide, so its value is a portfolio outcome rather than the result of any single title succeeding. For a player, earning flows through IndiGG's programmes β quests, tournaments, scholarship-style arrangements and whatever the partner games pay β not from Kratos directly, and those terms are set per campaign. Anyone evaluating this entry should be clear that it is a company and a DAO rather than something to play, and read IndiGG's own materials for what is currently running.

Publicly available details are minimal beyond a short summary
Our verdict on Kratos
Kratos is best understood as a rights-holder and investor rather than a game you sit down and play. It owns the IP behind IndiGG, described as the world's largest gaming DAO, and puts capital into web3 gaming projects and the infrastructure layer beneath them. That places it upstream of the titles most readers are actually looking for: the value on offer is exposure to a portfolio and a guild network, not a client to download.
What works is the position itself. Owning the IP of a large gaming DAO gives Kratos a foothold in player organisation and coordination, and an investment mandate spanning both games and infrastructure means it is not tied to the fate of any single title.
What does not work, for anyone browsing as a player, is the near-total absence of product detail. There is no stated genre, no developer credited, no website on record, and the chain is listed only as "Other" β so there is nothing here to evaluate as gameplay, and nothing to verify independently.
It is for people tracking who backs and organises web3 gaming β DAO participants, guild members, and investors. Players looking for something to play should look at the portfolio companies instead.
