MegaCryptoPolis is one of the older Ethereum city builders, and it is less a city-management game than a player-run supply chain wearing a city's clothes. Land plots, buildings, citizens, pets, cars and appliances are all separate NFTs, and buildings only function if someone feeds them materials — wood, sand, bricks and the like — which are consumed on use. Constructions earn influence points, and those points, not any skill test, determine your share of the pooled funds. District owners sit above all of it collecting tax. The MEGA token has a fixed two-million supply and is minted only by locking produced materials in the in-game vault, which ties the currency to actual production rather than emissions.

What works less well is the entry cost and the shape of the economy: you need land, a citizen and equipment before anything produces, so newcomers usually start as tenants of people who arrived years earlier. The split architecture — gameplay on Polygon while land ownership stays on Ethereum or Tron — adds real friction to a game already asking a lot of wallet literacy. Presentation is a dated isometric browser build with little moment-to-moment play.

It suits people who enjoy logistics, rents and market arbitrage, not players looking for a simulation to sink into.
