What is Voxies?

Voxies is a turn-based tactical role-playing game — its main title is Voxie Tactics — played out on grid-based battlefields in a bright voxel art style. The comparison that fits is the classic tactics genre: small squads, terrain that matters, and turns spent positioning rather than reacting. Characters are Voxies, each with a class and a personality, and a team is assembled from combinations of them. There is a demo available on Steam alongside the browser version. How to play Voxies

Battles are fought on a grid where height and terrain can be manipulated, so where a unit stands is often worth more than what it hits for. Classes are distinct and complementary: Rangers control range, Knights hold the front, Ninjas strike and reposition, Chemists produce unpredictable effects, Robos soak damage for weaker allies, Bards buff and debuff through song, and Warriors go straight down the middle. The current content pushes squads through hordes, swarms and boss encounters, with survivors to rescue along the way, so a run tests team composition as much as individual strength.

Voxies tokenomics & earning

VOXEL is the game's token and Voxies characters exist as NFTs that can be traded. The reasonable expectation is that this is a tactics game with an ownership layer, not an income stream: rewards come from competing and from the secondary market for characters, both of which depend on other players turning up. The demo costs nothing, which makes it easy to answer the only question that matters first — whether the tactical combat is good enough to hold you without any of the rest.
