Catizen is a Telegram Mini App on TON rather than a standalone game — it runs inside a chat window, with no install and no client. The loop is idle merging: identical cats combine into higher tiers, those cats earn currency from visitors to your cat café, and that currency buys more cats or feeds side activities like the fishing mode. It is worth correcting a common misdescription: the cats are ordinary game data, not bred NFT collectibles, and trading them is not the point.

What works is the near-zero friction and the presentation, which is brighter and better animated than most chat-based games. Publisher Pluto Studio has since widened it from one merge game into a small hub of casual mini-games with an AI-branded layer on top.

What does not work is that the design serves the airdrop rather than the play.
