Spekter Agency: Survivor enters Open Beta
Spekter Agency: Survivor has launched its Open Beta on Android, allowing players to test the game ahead of its official release. The standalone mobile title aims to provide a fresh experience with reworked progression, new content, and a design tailored specifically for mobile.
The beta phase invites players to engage actively by pushing their runs, reporting bugs, and sharing feedback via Discord. In return, participants will receive unique rewards, including coupons for in-game items and an exclusive profile frame at the official launch.
Details of the beta phase
The Open Beta runs for several weeks, providing early access to the community before the full release. Android players will experience a progression reset once the game formally launches, a common practice to ensure stability. In-app purchases will also be disabled during this period.
For iOS users, the game will not have an Open Beta phase. Instead, it is set to launch directly in full form, with no progress reset planned since it follows the Android testing period.
Distinction from Telegram version
Survivor is not a port or extension of the Telegram game. It completely drops web3 features, with all previous mechanics—such as Sparks and Spek Vaults—remaining exclusive to Telegram. Players should view Survivor as a new game within the same universe, with its own set of features.
Progression in Survivor is entirely separate from Telegram assets. Players must create a new Survivor account, and no previous assets or progress will carry over, ensuring a fresh start.
New features in Survivor
The game introduces a redefined progression design. Players pick and upgrade skills directly, creating a customized skill tree that aligns with their playstyle, in contrast to the fixed paths of the previous game.
New systems augment gameplay, such as a Star Map for character development, a Pet System that provides stat boosts, and a Carnival feature that opens special missions after reaching specific game stages. An Achievements system offers permanent progress, while Account Linking ensures players’ progress is maintained across devices. Some of these features will be added post-launch.
Game Overview
Survivor operates as a rogue-lite game where players face waves of enemies, building their character as they progress through runs. The game features diverse agents, each with unique abilities and powers, promoting varied gameplay. The design follows the survivor genre established by titles like Vampire Survivors, with players given greater control over their build selection.
The game is available for free on the Google Play Store during the beta phase.
About Spekter Games
Survivor is developed by Spekter Games, which was founded by entrepreneur Taehoon Kim. The studio focuses on adapting successful free-to-play mobile games for chat-based super apps, combining a passive web3 incentive system while maintaining a traditional gaming experience.
The original Spekter Agency launched on Telegram in June 2025, supported by a $5 million pre-seed funding round. The studio’s approach separates traditional gameplay from their web3 economy, indicating a strategic shift toward appealing to mainstream mobile gamers. With the Open Beta live on Android, Spekter is encouraging players to contribute to the game’s development ahead of its full launch.
