In Brief:
- PlayZap (official site) has launched AdsToEarn, a feature that pays mobile app users rewards for watching ads and funnels them into tournaments settled in $PZP.
- The company first introduced the feature in March 2025 and now says it’s live, framing it as an extension of its skill-based tournament model.
- It puts advertising inventory at the center of an app whose store listing has pitched ad-free play since launch.
PlayZap has turned on AdsToEarn, letting players earn rewards for watching ads inside its mobile app and put those rewards toward tournament entries paid in $PZP.
“AdsToEarn is here,” the company said in a post on X. “Watch. Earn. Play.”

The loop is simple. Players watch an ad, collect a reward, then enter a tournament and compete for a larger pot. PlayZap said the feature is “all powered by $PZP.”
What the company has said
PlayZap first flagged the feature in March 2025, describing it in nearly identical terms. “Introducing AdsToEarn in our super gaming app! Watch an ad, earn rewards, and join tournaments for even bigger wins instantly!” the company said at the time, adding that it was “taking Skill-to-Earn to the next level, making $PZP more powerful.”
The company hasn’t published reward rates, daily caps, ad partners or the conversion mechanics between ad rewards and $PZP. It hasn’t said which markets get the feature first.
Where $PZP fits
$PZP is the entry currency for PlayZap’s tournaments, PvP matches and jackpot games, and it’s used to buy limited-edition NFTs. Between 30% and 50% of the match fee collected in every tournament and PvP match is routed back into the incentive pool, according to the company.
Adding an ad-funded on-ramp gives non-paying users a way into paid brackets without buying tokens first. That matters for a platform built on the “Free to Play, Skill to Earn” pitch, where the entry fee has been the friction point.
The token launched as a BEP-20 asset on BNB Chain and has since expanded to Core, Tezos, Solana and EOS. The contract has migrated to a new address. PlayZap listed $PZP on KuCoin, Gate.io, BTSE and MojitoSwap on April 19, with audits from Certik, Hacken and Solid Proof.
Through Transak, $PZP is purchasable in 160 countries via Google Pay, Apple Pay and UPI.
Background
PlayZap runs a single app carrying multiple casual titles, including solitaire, 21 cards, 8 ball pool and Match Master. Players compete in daily leagues, group contests and head-to-head PvP. Other earning paths include a daily spin, a daily bonus, referrals and daily quests.
The company has said the platform has more than 2 million players. A two-year recap cited 1.7 million app downloads, 20 games launched and 100 strategic partners. Company posts have put on-chain transactions above 1.5 million. The app is published by Piper Play Technologies Private Limited and is free on Google Play and the App Store.
KuCoin Labs led PlayZap’s seed round, announced Aug. 4, 2022, joined by Arcanum Capital, Oddiyanna Ventures and Prime Block Ventures. Terms weren’t disclosed. KuCoin also took the Singapore-based company into its incubation program. More than 30 investors have participated across the seed and private rounds, including DWF Labs and WeWay.
The company said at the time it would spend the money on mobile and desktop development, new game IP, partner onboarding and marketing.
PlayZap partnered with DeFi Cattos in July 2025 to extend into gaming on Aptos. It also operates an AI gaming agent it calls Zen.
The app store listing that has run alongside all of it reads: “PLAY together with players in NO ADS games to EARN TOKEN.”
