Preorders opened Oct. 13 at 9 a.m. PT, the date and time Azuki gave when it first announced the box.

What’s in the box

Each collection holds eight exclusive alternate-art cards, a premium half-size neoprene playmat, a DECK BOX® and a collection box.

Ultra PRO International manufactures the playmat and deck box. The box measures 13.875 inches wide, 3.375 inches high and 6.75 inches deep.

The official shop lists a release date of Jan. 15, 2027. Orders ship in January 2027, separately from anything else in a buyer’s cart. Shipping is available in the U.S. and most countries worldwide.

All sales are final. The shop doesn’t allow returns or exchanges.

Second set comes first

The collection won’t ship until after Fractured Domains, the second Azuki TCG set. That set is scheduled for Nov. 20, 2026, in North America, Latin America and Europe.

Azuki first teased the anniversary product in its TCG roadmap, which runs through the second quarter of 2027. The roadmap said the collection would celebrate the characters, artwork and moments that shaped the game’s first year.

Azuki Labs has said it plans four more sets over the next 18 months. A companion manga is in development.

Background

Azuki TCG reached retail June 26, 2026, with Gates Awakened, a 148-card first set. Booster display boxes sold for $119.99 and held 24 packs of 12 cards each. Starter decks were $12.99.

Gates Awakened launched with four starter decks built around the leaders Raizan, Shao, Zero and Bobu. Each 63-card starter deck included eight foils.

In the game, players build decks around a Leader and a Gate. They spend IKZ resources to deploy Entities, Spells and Weapons across a two-row battlefield split into the Alley and the Garden. A player wins by taking the opposing Leader’s Health to zero.

The game’s presale closed with more than $1 million in sales. Azuki said the game is distributed through Southern Hobby and has local play at more than 175 shops.

Azuki announced the card game on X on Feb. 12, 2025. At the time, it targeted a 2025 release. Buyers of early Alpha Starter Decks received an NFT recording their purchase, which could later be redeemed for physical cards.

The anniversary box carries item code AZK1284001.
