In Brief:

  • Farming Season (@farmingseasonio) said it would post its token contract address at 16:00 UTC on Oct. 19 and open Season 1 of the game at 16:30 UTC.
  • The team said the contract address will appear only on its own X account and told players to ignore any other address that circulates.
  • The project calls itself the first RWA-powered farming game on Robinhood Chain. Its in-game Farm Bank buys gold, silver and oil from players at live Chainlink prices.

Farming Season said it would publish its token contract address at 16:00 UTC on Oct. 19, and the game would go live 30 minutes later at 16:30 UTC.

The team announced the schedule in a post on X from @farmingseasonio that opened with “Season 1 opens tomorrow.” The post also gave a warning about where the address would come from.

Read the post on X

“The CA will only be posted here, by @farmingseasonio. Ignore any other “CA” you see,” the team said.

That post points players to the official site, farmingseason.io. Before launch, the project’s X bio listed the contract address as “Soon,” so no token had been deployed.

How the game works

Farming Season ties its in-game resources to real-world prices. On its waitlist page, the project said players can mine gold and silver priced by real markets and pump oil that tracks real crude. They can also plant crops, raise animals and battle.

Selling happens through a feature the team calls the Farm Bank. According to the project’s X account, a player’s mine digs gold and silver, an oil well pumps barrels, and the Farm Bank buys them at live Chainlink prices. The team said players decide when to sell.

The X bio also describes planting, raising and battling with a clan.

The project hasn’t said publicly which Chainlink feeds it uses. No outside audit of its contracts could be found before launch.

Pre-launch campaign

The project’s X profile lists @nuhbatuhann as the developer. The account went live in October 2026, and its pinned announcement was posted on Oct. 14.

Before Season 1, the team ran a waitlist at farmingseason.io/waitlist alongside a creator campaign. Creators who posted about the game could win a free mint allowlist spot. The team offered 100 guaranteed (GTD) spots and 200 first-come, first-served (FCFS) spots.

The project hasn’t published a token ticker, supply figures or how the token connects to the Farm Bank. The team didn’t give further detail on the mint before launch.

The chain

Robinhood Chain is Robinhood's Ethereum layer-2, built on Arbitrum technology. A public testnet launched on Feb. 10, 2026, and the mainnet went live on July 1, 2026. Chainlink was one of the integrations at mainnet launch.

Robinhood built the chain for tokenized real-world assets. Farming Season’s pitch borrows from that: commodity prices, an onchain oracle and a game loop wrapped around them.

The gas subsidy Robinhood ran for 90 days after mainnet ended on Sept. 29. As of late September, the chain had no token or airdrop of its own.

Robinhood doesn’t run an official gaming program for the chain. Several farming-themed projects with similar names already run there, including Yield Farm and Farmers Market. Farming Season’s own post told players the only safe source for its contract address is @farmingseasonio.
