Open Alpha Announced
Alien Legends is set to kick off its Open Alpha on April 16. Players will engage in a browser-based tactical fighter game, combining Alien Legends fighters with NFTs from Alien Worlds Crew and Arms to battle in dungeons and arenas. Most reward mechanisms, including TLM, Shards, and incentives for Alien Worlds landowners, are already in place.
Gameplay Features
During the Open Alpha, players can explore a vast World Map featuring portals, taverns for recruiting, and various dungeons and arenas. Trainers will manage their fighters, leveling them up and completing daily, weekly, and monthly quests. They’re also encouraged to take part in leaderboards to track performance.
Additional Incentives
The alpha rollout includes a full progress reset at its conclusion, with a scheduled external competition utilizing the Alien Worlds smart contract toward the end of the testing phase. Players will be rewarded for bug reporting, with incentives to be distributed shortly after the alpha phase ends.
Player Requirements and Mechanics
Participants must have at least five Alien Legends fighters, one Alien Worlds crew NFT, and one Alien Worlds arms NFT to engage in battles. A total of 1 million Shards will be shared among players who submit useful bug reports via Discord. Trial accounts will only receive 10% of the potential rewards.
Fighters will age over time, diminishing in effectiveness, while legendary account status will provide additional daily resources.
“We’re excited to see how players interact with the Open Alpha and shape the game’s development,” said a spokesperson from the team.
