What is Alien Worlds?

Alien Worlds is a community-built metaverse where players explore planets, mine resources, and compete for Trilium (TLM), the game's cross-chain cryptocurrency. Playable on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and WAX blockchains, the game combines idle mechanics with resource competition and player-versus-player gameplay.

How to play Alien Worlds

Players begin with a free shovel for basic mining but can discover or acquire stronger tools to increase earning potential. The core gameplay loop involves sending explorers on missions to mine Trilium from different planets, with success rates influenced by the tools equipped. Land ownership allows players to control planetary parcels and either mine them personally or earn commission from other miners. Advanced players engage in the Thunder Dome Arena, battling opponents using avatars, minions, and weapons for additional Trilium and NFT rewards.

Alien Worlds NFTs and governance

The game features NFT-based mechanics including land parcels, weapons, avatar cards, and minions that can be acquired, upgraded, and traded. Players can "shine" four identical NFTs together to upgrade them to higher tiers by paying Trilium fees. Planetary DAOs add a governance layer: players stake Trilium to vote in planet elections, giving the community influence over game development and planetary features.

Alien Worlds tokenomics

Trilium (TLM) is the capped-supply token with a 5 billion coin limit, plus an additional 5 billion released gradually to planets over time. Earned primarily through mining, Trilium enables in-game transactions, NFT upgrades, and DAO voting. The token operates across three blockchains, allowing players to move assets freely between Ethereum, BSC, and WAX ecosystems.
