Origins Postseason 16 has officially started, marking another competitive milestone in the Axie Infinity universe. This season credits every player, known in-game as Lunacians, who has dedicated time and strategy to advance through the ranks over the past several weeks. The climax of this intense competition will be the Elite 4 championship, scheduled for March 22nd, where top players will strive to win the prestigious season crown.
Elite 4 Championship Details
The competitive spirit reaches its peak in the Elite 4 showdown where four formidable players will clash to claim the ultimate title. The event promises intense battles, with each participant required to register three distinct teams of three axies each. These teams must adhere to specific configuration rules to ensure a fair and challenging contest. Notably, no team can share more than nine out of 18 axie parts with another, and each axie can only be assigned to one team. Once the registration is complete, swapping axies between teams is not permitted.
The matches will follow a double-elimination format, and to secure a match victory, a player must win one game with each of their teams. Moreover, a team cannot be reused in the same match once it secures a game win. These rules are designed to test the strategic depth and adaptability of each player.
The livestream of this thrilling event will begin at 7 PM in the Philippines, corresponding to 6 AM Eastern Standard Time, allowing global viewers to tune in and witness high-level strategic gameplay.
Rewards and Recognitions
The rewards for this season are exceptionally significant, with more than 10,000 AXS set aside to be distributed among the participants. The distribution of these rewards will be based on the number of collectible tickets each participant has accumulated. With a total of 15,838,917 collectible tickets issued this season, the value of one collectible ticket stands at approximately 0.63135629 mAXS.
