CyberVerse is a browser-based, pixel-art MMO set in a cyberpunk city called Cyberia. It began on Ergo in 2023 and later added Cardano and Ronin support, so you pick a chain at the wallet-connect screen before you ever see the game. The loop is less combat MMO than sandbox job simulator: fishing, mining, farming, looting, crafting, plus side activities like DJing, car racing and gardening, all feeding the CYPX token and a player-run market.

What works is the economy's texture. NPC merchants rotate their offers every six hours, and a "Sketchy Dealer" buys goods under market rate with a real chance of simply scamming you — a risk-reward wrinkle most crypto games would never ship. NFT apartments and a community wiki give the world some persistence.

What does not work: "free-to-play" is doing heavy lifting. Multiplayer mode, daily CYPX claims and much of Cyberia sit behind a GEN3 NFT, and splitting one small player base across three chains thins out the market on each. It has also worn the beta label a long time.
