About Everglen
What is Everglen?
Everglen is a browser virtual-pet MMO on Solana. Players adopt and care for creatures called GlenFrens, of which there are eleven species with genetic traits, and use them in turn-based fights in the Battledome against computer-controlled opponents. Pets have hunger and happiness, and their condition feeds directly into combat power. Rarer pets carry more traits: common ones show one, rares two, epics three and mythics all four.
Things to do
Beyond battles, the game offers fishing, farming, crafting, expeditions and arcade minigames. Guilds share tasks and weekly hunts, and player markets trade items and GlenFrens. Sign-in uses a Solana wallet, with a guest mode available, and the interface is in English and Japanese. The site shows version 0.40.
Economy
The whitepaper describes Glim Points, an in-game currency earned from battles, quests and the arcade, and Glen, a utility token on Solana. GlenFrens can be minted as Metaplex Core assets for 0.15 SOL, capped at 1,000 in total, for a permanent 25 per cent stat boost. The shop is priced in US dollars at live token rates, and player-to-player Glen trades carry a 10 per cent treasury toll. The whitepaper describes no real-money wagering.
Our verdict
Everglen has more mechanical depth than its landing page suggests: traits, condition, guilds, markets and a disclosed mint cap show a planned economy. The pet-care link to combat power is the most distinctive idea.
It is still an early build with an undisclosed team and roadmap, and the token and paid mint are the risky parts. Pet-collection fans can explore it in guest mode first.
