About FaenoraVerse
What is FaenoraVerse?
FaenoraVerse is a medieval-fantasy, pixel-art universe from 2TG Entertainment, a self-funded indie studio based in Vancouver, Canada. It centres on two connected tactical RPGs: To The Grave: The Wildlands of Faenora, a story-driven roguelite for Steam, and To The Grave: The Hunters of Faenora, a browser-based title that carried the blockchain layer.
Combat is turn-based and played on a 3x3 positional grid. Players assemble squads of mercenaries, manage resources and try to survive repeated runs, in a roguelite structure comparable to classic tactics games and deckbuilding roguelikes.
The web3 side ran on Solana. The utility token MCHY was used to recruit and promote units, re-roll traits, revive fallen mercenaries and buy supplies. Mercenary characters were issued as NFTs built on the Metaplex MPL-404 standard, which allows swaps between NFTs and fungible tokens.
Status note: according to third-party project tracking, Hunters of Faenora was sunsetted on 31 July 2026, ending the web3 component. The Steam game, Wildlands of Faenora, remains in development with a wishlist page. The official site is at 2tg.io.
Our verdict
FaenoraVerse is the web home of To The Grave: The Wildlands of Faenora, described as a roguelite tactical RPG. The site credits 2TG Entertainment, an independent studio based in Vancouver, Canada. Right now the main thing the site asks visitors to do is wishlist the game, so it looks like a project still heading toward release, not one you can play today.
The pitch is clear enough to judge. Roguelite structure plus tactical RPG combat is a recognisable formula, and the studio's own line about a "witty bark" and "nostalgic bite" suggests a humorous tone and a deliberate nod to older games in the genre. That gives a clearer sense of identity than many early listings offer.
What is missing matters more, especially for a game filed under crypto. The available information names no blockchain, no token, no NFTs and no on-chain features at all, and the genre and chain fields are blank. Anyone expecting play-to-earn mechanics or digital ownership has nothing here to confirm that those exist. There are also no details on platforms, release timing or how the roguelite runs are built.
For now this suits players who like tactical roguelites and are happy to wishlist an indie title and wait. Crypto-focused players should hold off until the studio explains what, if anything, connects it to a blockchain.
This is our own editorial assessment. We do not score games — ratings come from players.
