About VeilBound
What is Veilbound?
Veilbound is a free 3D MMORPG that runs entirely in the browser, with no download or install. Its own description draws on classic World of Warcraft and RuneScape design. The site lists 11 classes, 20 zones, over 600 quests and a large roster of dungeons, and its wiki, which is generated live from the running game, catalogues 245 creatures, 1,481 items and 330 abilities.
Gameplay
Combat is tab-target with an added dodge roll that gives half a second of invulnerability, telegraphed heavy attacks and ability chains. The client offers keyboard shortcuts, resizable panels and mouselook. You can wander in as a guest, though guest progress is not saved, or create an account, including with Discord. Systems in the wiki include professions, companions, guild doctrines, ranked arena, territory wars, homesteads and a season road.

Veilbound is among the more ambitious browser MMOs in the catalogue. The content list, deterministic server and live wiki show real development effort, and there is no barrier to trying it.
