Gigaverse launches Void Dungeon
Gigaverse has unveiled an updated version of the Void Dungeon, introducing a weekly skill-based mode where players enter using GIGABIT tokens. The first week features a total prize pool of $5,000, alongside a $5,000 jackpot and a unique GLHFers NFT awarded to the top player.
Progress resets each week, allowing equal competition among players. Participants can collect Void Chips by defeating Echoes, which are snapshots of players encountered in-game. The new Pay 2 Nerf mechanism lets players halve an Echo’s stats for 75 GIGABIT, with 69% of that fee going to the Echo’s owner.
Ecosystem funding and community engagement
Five percent of GIGABIT entry fees will be directed toward NFT bids, starting with the GLHFers collection. Community stretch goals will also be implemented, offering milestones tied to in-game and community activities. Current rules permit gameplay automation through AI tools, with no limit on the number of runs players can undertake each week.
Operation schedule
The Void Dungeon went live immediately following the announcement. Each cycle lasts seven days, resetting players’ skill trees and chip counts upon completion. The full prize pool will be distributed proportionally at the end of each week, while any unclaimed jackpot rolls over into subsequent weeks.
Entry details and mechanics
For Week 1, standard entry costs 200 GIGABIT, with higher tiers at 400 and 800 GIGABIT. Entry fees are allocated as follows: 60% to the prize pool, 35% to the jackpot, and 5% to the NFT bid fund. Jackpot chances vary by tier: 0.25% at 200 GIGABIT, 0.5% at 400, and 1% at 800 HIGABIT. Players with an active Giga Juice subscription receive double Void Chips and enhanced jackpot chances.
Players can expect a full dungeon run to include 17 rooms, with an average of six Echo encounters per run.
