Short explanations in our own words, each tied to the page of Pixels that backs it (read 2026-10-29). Pixels changes the game often, so check the linked page for current numbers.

Terms 18

BERRY

The earlier in-game currency. When PIXEL launched, Pixels let players convert BERRY into PIXEL.

The FAQ is from the launch period. It gave 1,000 BERRY for 7.6175 PIXEL and said the rate improved the sooner a player converted. Some older docs pages still call BERRY the main currency.

Coins

An in-game currency that lives off-chain, not on the blockchain. Players can buy Coins using PIXEL.

Energy

The resource that actions in the game spend. Every player has a capacity of 1,000, and with low energy the character moves more slowly. Energy can be restored by things like the sauna, eating and drinking, and energy parties.

Older docs describe a regeneration rate; the current help article does not, so we do not state one.

Guild

A group of players. Each guild has its own token in the Pixels Guilds contract, and free-to-play players can join a guild to reach higher-tier resources.

Land (NFT farm)

A plot of land owned as an NFT. The help center says each NFT farm is numbered from 1 to 5,000.

The Atlas or the contract may show a different total than the numbering in the help center. Check the contract before quoting a total.

Marketplace

The in-game place where players buy and sell items. Access depends on your Reputation, and Pixels does not refund Coins lost to a wrong price.

Pet

An NFT companion on Ronin. Each pet has three stats: strength, speed and luck. Players first need a pet capsule, and pets need food, water and play.

PIXEL

The Pixels token, a premium in-game currency. See our PIXEL token hub for the price and the contract address, and the Task Board entry for the main in-game way to earn it.

Older docs pages describe PIXEL issuance in numbers that have not been reconfirmed, so we do not repeat them.

Pixels

An open-ended farming and exploration game that runs on the Ronin blockchain.

Pixel Dungeons

A short competitive mode: survive a two-minute round, mine PIXEL and avoid hazards. If you die you drop your loot bag and other players can take it.

Quicksilver

A currency designed to speed up crafting and mining times instantly.

Reputation

A score that rewards loyal, active players with benefits and recognition. It decides access to features such as the marketplace.

The FAQ lists exact thresholds for trading, the marketplace and withdrawals, but it is from the launch period and the help center does not repeat them. Check in the game.

Speck

A small parcel of free land for free-to-play players, a stepping stone toward bigger land.

Staking

Locking your PIXEL to support a game in the Pixels ecosystem and earn rewards. On-chain there is no minimum amount.

Source: Pixels help center: Staking FAQ

Task Board

The main way to earn PIXEL and Coins in the game. An NPC posts tasks that reward PIXEL, Coins and EXP, and the board resets daily.

PIXEL rewards on tasks are not guaranteed. The FAQ mentions nine tasks a day, which is from the launch period.

UGC (user-generated content)

Custom decorations that players submit for review. Only high-quality artwork is approved, and once approved the creator can mint a minimum of 100.

Source: Pixels help center: Submitting your UGC decorations

VIP

A monthly paid membership with extra in-game benefits, such as more backpack slots, extra Task Board tasks, extra marketplace slots and instant energy from the VIP lounge.

The FAQ and the help center give different numbers for the lounge energy and the reputation bonus. The help center is newer; check it for the current figures.

Industry

How we use the word on this site: a building or station on a land where resources are gathered or items are crafted, such as the timers tool's stations.

Pixels' own docs have no one-line definition of an industry; they describe individual ways to gather and craft. Use the in-game name of each station when you add a timer.

Looking for the token? See the PIXEL token hub. Missing a term? We only add ones an official page explains.
