Reign of Terror

What is Reign of Terror?

Reign of Terror is a cyberpunk game world made up of several connected games that share the $REIGN token and a set of collectible agents. The flagship title in development is a tactical role-playing game that the studio pitches as XCOM meets MMORPG.

How to play

The project currently spans several smaller games. Awakening is a tile-conquering game in which players unlock each location's vault to win prizes, and it is played through a web app at playrot.app. Hacker Assault is cooperative: players team up to defeat AI bosses inside computer security systems. Uprising is about building squads of agents, levelling them up and fusing them together to reach higher rarities. The full Reign of Terror tactical RPG is still ahead, and a pre-alpha demo that was shown at Gamescom can be downloaded through the Elixir launcher.

Economy and chain

$REIGN is the shared currency across what the team calls its roster of metagames. The FAQ lists uses such as missions, speedups, fusing agents and, in the full game, base building. The token trades on Gate.io and its contract is listed on BscScan. The roadmap records that a migration from Solana to BNB Chain has started, so the token now sits on BNB Smart Chain. Awakening v1 is marked as released, and the rest of the roadmap, including the full tactical RPG, is still to come.
