Tokyo Beast

Tokyo Beast is an NFT collection-and-battle game built on Immutable X, set in a near-future Tokyo where the collectible units are android creatures called BEASTs. Rather than a single game loop, it splits into two connected halves: BASE, where you stake tokens, breed and train your roster, and TRIALS, where those BEASTs fight in real-time matches for rewards. A prediction and betting layer sits alongside the combat, so spectators and holders have a stake in fights they are not personally playing.

What works in principle is the separation of the two systems — the slower economic and team-building side feeds a faster competitive one, which gives collecting a purpose beyond speculation and gives battles a supply of prepared teams. Immutable X as the settlement layer keeps the NFT side aimed at gaming rather than general trading.

The reservations are structural. Breeding, training, staking and betting stacked together make for a demanding onboarding path, and the betting mechanics push the experience toward wagering as much as play. A roster built through breeding also tends to reward early and well-funded holders. This one suits players comfortable with token economies and competitive team-builders, not those wanting a game they can simply pick up.
