The introduction of $THOU marks a strategic delineation from the $WC token, previously the focal point, which remains integral to the economic activities of the studio‘s inaugural game, Wildcard.
Dual Token Strategy
The studio is now managing two distinct economic layers. The $WC token is primarily used within the Wildcard game for various franchise activities and ecosystem engagements. Conversely, $THOU serves as a governance tool, crucial for ensuring that the control of the Thousands Network remains with its active builders and users rather than external investors or the founding team. Moreover, $THOU is planned to be deployed on Ethereum, although specifics like the total supply and distribution mechanics remain under wraps at this stage. Yet, it is clear that $THOU distribution will heavily rely on the Thousands XP system, which rewards network-enhancing actions by its users.
Earning Thousands XP
The integration of XP within the current Wildcard rollout allows users multiple ways to accrue rewards. Involvements such as operating a Franchise, minting Summon Contracts, sponsoring a House, competing in sanctioned tournaments, and streaming activities are viable avenues for earning XP. Each action is calibrated to reflect its value contribution to the network, with more active participation yielding greater XP.
